How do I proceed if the land description does not return a Parish or Area?
If the land description you have entered is unknown to the database, you will be required to enter the parish and area to clarify the parcel to be searched. The parish name can be entered in full or chosen from Select Parish (enter at least the first letter to begin). The area can be measured in either square metres (M2) or hectares (HA) and will accept up to 4 decimal places. Remember to enter both the area and the measurement unit. Please note that if the parish and area are not returned automatically, the application will have to be processed manually.
