How do I print B/W on a colour machine and vise versa?
You can change the type of print by clicking the preferences button after you select a printer from the list. On the Paper/Quality tab, change the output to either black and white or colour. The job will then print out as you selected and charge you appropriately. The only printers that do this are the Broadcasting B/W with office colour and the CAVE and Graphics presentation colour printers. All other printers you will be charged a flat rate regardless of this settings, so be careful. For Adobe applications the procedure is different, please see this guide for more infomation.
