To prevent users from viewing the system properties locate the file sysdm.cpl and change the security permissions on it. The file should be in the Winnt\System32 directory. To set the security right click on the file and choose Properties from the drop down context. Click on the Security tab in the next popup window. Click on the Add key to add the user and then choose No Access in Windows NT or in Windows 2000 with the user highlighted deny read & execute priveleges by clicking on the appropriate check box. You can also do this with the other Control Panel Applets.
