If the Nokia 6090 phone is used in connection with it’s handset, the user may press the power button in order to switch off the mobile, or he can remove the handset connector. The Nokia 6090 phone then will automatically switch off. In order to have the Nokia 6090 phone running again (for AT-controlled service for example) a device is necessary that detects the power down. This can be achieved by measuring the status on the AMC Line (Antenna Motor Control, orange cable). The AMC is connected to +car battery if the Nokia 6090 phone is on, otherwise the AMC is not connected. External pull-down resistor (1kOhm) may be necessary. After detecting the power down, the Nokia 6090 phone can be restarted by ignition sense (IGNS, blue cable) going low (0V) and high (+car battery) again.
