To prevent the Nik Selective Tool from opening automatically opening at Photoshop startup, first have the Nik Selective Tool open. If you closed the Nik Selective Tool, you can reopen it by clicking on File >Automate >Nik Selective Tool… and the tool will be reopened. Click the Settings button located on the bottom of the Selective Tool window. In the Selective Tool Settings dialog, go down to ’When Photoshop launches:’ and click the pull down box next to it to the ’do not automatically open the Selective Tool’ setting. The Nik Selective Tool will no longer open automatically.
