This tip comes from Michael Bode and was posted at: http://www.cramsession.com All users that you do not want to have access to My Computer will have to be set apart from other typical users (“Domain Users”). This is done by creating a new global group (name it logically), adding these new non-My Computer users to the group, removing these new non-My Computer users from the Domain Users group, and finally, setting permissions on a registry key. Create a new global group. Maybe name it simply “non-My Computer.” If you already have a group set up that groups together these special users, then use that group in place of “non-My Computer” Add the special non-My Computer users to this new global group (“non-My Computer”). Obviously, if you already have a group set up as described in the previous step, then this step is already done for you.
