The AUTO HOLD™ closer (the closer with the AUTO HOLD™ label) has an on/off feature. To turn off the AUTO HOLD™ feature, remove the rod end of the closer from the jamb bracket and turn the rod 180 degrees using a screwdriver through the hole at the end of the rod. There are instructions on the AUTO HOLD™ closer label as well.
