On the server, use the start menu to open the windows “Control Panel.” Double click on the “System” icon in the control panel. Click on the “Computer Name” tab. Write down the name that follows “Full Computer Name.” Next, open a blank Notepad document. In Notepad, use the “File >> Open” pulldown menu to open the file “tctdsync.bat.” Replace “TIMESRV” with the “Full Computer Name.” Save and close the document. Next, enter TimeClick administration mode, select preferences, and then select “Passwords and Misc Controls.” Check the box next to “Sync Workstation Time To Server Before Action.” Click Finished. To test this feature, change the time on a workstation, open TimeClick and perform a clock in or out action. The time on the computer should change when the clock action takes place.
