Prevent your child from drinking fizzy drinks daily. Instead, provide water to quench the thirst. Eat regular meals, consisting of whole meal foods, fruit and vegetables. Breakfast should consist of whole breakfast cereals like porridge or bran flakes. Include whole meal flour, pasta, cereals and rice in your diet. Teach your child to love variety of fresh fruits and provide at least one type of fruit in their lunchbox. Give any dried fruit like raisins, apricots and figs for snacks. Gently massage their abdomen with baby lotion in circular motion for complaints of stomachache. Keep a step beside the toilet to help your toddler to get atop it. Teach them the correct method of placing the step and pushing with their feet.
