It is too late this year to put grass seed down unless you use rye grass. Wait until the spring when grass starts growing again. 1. Dig over the soil and level it with a rake. 2. Sprinkle a handful of grass seed for every square metre. 3. Water it every day. You should have thick grass in two to three weeks.
