How do I prepare for presenting a topic for the oral part of the Intermediate Level Exam?
We suggest that the candidate carefully chooses a topic for his or her presentation. The topic should be concrete, not too broad and, above all, the candidate should be truly willing to discuss it. After choosing the topic, the candidate should look for additional information in Slovene books, magazines and newspapers, or use the Internet. The candidate should attempt to make a written outline (perhaps a list of issues to be discussed in his or her presentation). The candidate should be prepared to speak spontaneously, he or she should not learn the presentation by heart, reading is not allowed (but using a written outline is).
