How do I prepare for my practicando role?
The syllabus will serve as your guide while preparing for your practicando role. Study your topic summary and familiarize yourself with the publications provided in that summary’s bibliography. If you have questions you may choose to contact the faculty lecturer or the course directors. Introductions will include general and background information about the lecture topic. This section may also include a brief introduction to the faculty lecturer. Summaries will highlight important points outlined in the syllabus summary, as well as points that are emphasized during the lecture. Discussion leaders should prepare a list of questions for the speaker, one of which s/he will use to open the 10-minute discussion. The discussion leader will accept questions from the audience and present additional questions during the discussion.
