How do I prepare for live-in Home Health Aide assistance?
A separate sleeping area is required for the Home Health Aide. We are happy to discuss the available options. Caregivers will assist with meal preparation for both their Client and themselves. We ask that groceries be available for their use. Adequate sleep is essential to enable our Home Health Aides to be awake and alert during daytime hours. Caregivers are required to have 8 hours of sleep each night, 5 of which should be uninterrupted sleep.
We have a checklist we can mail or e-mail to you that provides more specific information on what you can do to prepare for a live-in caregiver.
