How do I prepare and submit a contribution to PLoS Currents?
Authors assemble their content at the Google Knol site, where it can be edited and discussed with other users at the author’s discretion. Once the authors deem their work to be ready, they can submit the contribution to PLoS Currents: Influenza, where it will be considered by the moderators, and given a rapid acceptance or rejection decision. The accepted contributions are immediately made available at PLoS Currents: Influenza and are also simultaneously posted onto the archival site at the NCBI. At PLoS Currents: Influenza, each article can be discussed using the standard Knol commenting tools. Authors wishing to edit their article can go back to the original Knol submission, make their edits and resubmit the article to the moderators. Once accepted the new version will be added to PLoS Currents and archived at the NCBI site, along with any previous versions, so that users have access to a full version history.
