As in the above FAQ, always set your camera or computer graphics program to produce the most digital information possible or reasonable. When you’re done using your camera or program simply copy your files to a computer folder. Save these files in a safe folder location with the word “Original” somewhere in the folder and the file name. This is the file that we prefer to use (i.e., the original digital file from your camera or computer program). The most common file types are RAW, TIFF, JPG or AI. If you would like to experiment with adjusting the images settings like; brightness, contrast, colors, cropping and so forth, be sure to make a copy first. Any file adjustments should ALWAYS be done on a copy so as to preserve the original data information.
