Determine what type of cleaner is acceptable for use on your vinyl siding by reading manufacturer’s instructions for vinyl siding and cleaner. Pour the cleaner into the power washer and fill with recommended amount of water. Cover any brick facing with tarp and tape to protect the finish from damaging run-off.Begin spraying the siding at eye level with the power washer. Avoid spraying the water up toward the siding, this can cause water leakage underneath the siding slats. Work from the top of the area that you are cleaning to the bottom and completely rinse cleaner before drying can occur.Use a soft-bristled brush and diluted cleaner to scrub stains or areas around openings in the siding such as windows and doors.
