How do I potty train two Red Heeler puppies about 4 months old?

I just recently got two red heeler puppies and since they weren’t catching on to potty training we had to make them outside dogs. I want them potty trained so I can keep them inside at night. We live in Texas so it doesn’t get to cold, but I’m still a softy when it comes to my babies.
