How do i point my domain to Adaptive.net servers?
Moving a site to our servers is fairly seamless; if done properly your site will not experience any down time. Once your hosting account is setup, we issue you a temporary web address to which you can begin posting your pages. This allows you to make sure your site is working OK prior to pointing your domain name over to our servers. During this time, we will send you an email with simple domain transfer instructions on how to update/authorize your domain records so that domain name points to our servers. After you complete the instructions, your domain will be pointed to our server within about 24-48 hours as the domain changes propagate across the Internet. Your domain name will automatically point to the pages you uploaded to your temporary address, thus ensuring your web site experiences no down time.
