How do i play spades?
Spades is a partnership bidding game, most commonly played with two teams of two players each. Partners sit opposite each other. The suit of spades is always the highest, or trump and the cards are valued at high to low with the Ace being the highest, King next highest, etc… The cards are shuffled and dealt out until each player has 13 cards. You take turns “bidding” which means how many rounds, or tricks you think you can win with your hand. If you don’t think you can win any, you bid nil. each person is responsible for bringing in the number of tricks they bid. First player will lay down a card and play goes around the table with each person trying to place a card of the same suit of a higher value to win the trick. If your partner has the highest card, you would not want to throw a bigger card unless you thought the other team will win the trick. If no cards of that suit is in your hand, you can throw off suit, or if in any round but the first you can play a trump card. The person
