Seed PlantingPlant the seeds anytime from late winter to late spring. Place the seeds in a small plastic container or glass and add enough water to cover the seeds. Allow them to soak overnight. Use seeds from an over-ripe fruit. Use small peat pots and place a nutrient rich seed mix in them, and then plant the seed in the mixture. Cover the seed with ½ inch of soil and add water.GerminationPlace the pots in a window sill or other partly sunny, warm area. Add water every other day or so, just to make sure the soil remains moist but not thoroughly wet. Expect the seeds to germinate in 10 to 24 days.
