Placing any order in G-Secs would be similar to that in equity. Once you click on the ‘Buy’ screen in the equity page, you would be able to place an order in G-Secs in the same way as an order is placed for equity. Currently ICICIdirect allows trading in G-Secs only on BSE. Therefore the exchange selected would have to be BSE and the product ‘Cash’.
