How do I place an item on hold using the online catalogue?

• Once you have entered a search, you will see a list of matching results. Choose the result that most closely matches the item you were searching for. • Click on the Place Hold button beside the name of the item. • Alternatively, if you wish to see more information about the item before placing the hold, click on the Details button, then place the hold using the Place Hold link on the left side of the Details screen. • If you are not already logged in, you will be asked to do so as described on the Checking Your Record page. • Choose your pick up location from the drop down menu provided. • Click on the Place Hold button.
