How do I opt-in to receive SMS text messages from the U?
You can opt in by providing a text-enabled phone number via CIS. Log in to CIS at cis.utah.edu, and click on the U of U Campus Alert link. Enter your mobile phone number in the SMS Text Message Phone field. Be sure to press the Save button when you are done. Please note that SMS text messages can become lost or slow during busy times, so we encourage you to enter at least one voice messaging contact.
