How do I open the key container on a keybox?
A. There are two types of Supra keyboxes you can encounter in the field. To open the key container, press enter on your key, at “Obtain Key” press enter. Enter the PIN number for your key and press enter. The key will begin searching for a keybox to open. The AEII keybox is the older version, gray, and opened by connecting the contacts on your key to the contacts on the box. Once you have prepared your key to open the key container, place your DisplayKEY into the receptacle on the keybox so the contacts on the DisplayKEY match the contacts on the keybox. It will take a few seconds for the key to communicate with the keybox, and then the key container will drop down from the bottom of the keybox. The Ibox is the newer keybox and is blue. This box does not have a receptacle to place your key. Instead it has an infrared lens located on the front of the box. Prepared your key to open the key container and point the infrared port located at the top of your key at the keybox’s infrared lens.
