HOW DO I OPEN THE CD ROM ON MAC G3 I BOOK ?
In the upper right corner of the keyboard there should be an eject button. It doesn’t say eject, it just has a triangle over a line…the universal ‘eject’ symbol. If that doesn’t work or you don’t have that button you can hold down the mouse button while the system is turning on (this is a force eject). If there is a CD in the tray, you can just drag the icon for the cd into the trash and that should eject it. If it still won’t open, there may be a small hole on the CD ROM that you can stick a straightened paper clip into the force it to eject…only certain models have this small hole though. Make sure the paper clip goes in straight, and you might have to use some force, no need to treat it like a lady. You may also be able to use the f12 key on certain models.
