You will need to open your computer casing when you have to replace or troubleshoot hardware parts. You also have to open the casing every time you need to clean the computer’s internal components. Although the steps are relatively similar for any computer casing, it depends on the kind or brand you are using. Make sure that your hands are clean and dry. Turn off the computer and unplug the power cable from the power outlet. Disconnect all cables, cords and external peripherals that are attached to the computer. Locate the screws of the computer. They are usually located at the back edges of the casing. Use a Philip screwdriver to remove the screws.
