How do I obtain registration in Queensland as an area of need specialist?
In order to obtain registration in Queensland for this purpose you will need to apply under the Specialist Pathway for special purpose registration. To be eligible to register as a ‘Deemed Specialist’ you must possess specialist qualifications from outside of Australia or New Zealand, and have had this assessed by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the relevant specialist college in Australia.
