How do I obtain Nembutal or Ketamine or other controlled substances?
• Nembutal and Ketamine are available through the RU Stockroom. Only authorized individuals may requisition, pick up, use or have access to controlled substances. See the University’s Guidelines for the Use of Controlled Substances in Research for more information. Use the Controlled Substances Requisition form, via iProcurement, to requisition controlled substances. The Controlled Substance Authorization and Record of Distribution forms must be completed and submitted in order to pick up new orders. Please arrange an appointment for the retrieval of controlled substances from the Director of Materials Management/CPO (Ext. 8199). Please be sure that you have all appropriate documentation prior to making this appointment.
