How do I obtain my project number for Tri-Council Standard Operating Grants (External Grants)?
A copy of the notice of award will be sent directly by the Council to Research Services and Research Accounting for set up pending receipt of requisite certifications. The Research Grants Officer will follow up with the investigator to obtain any requisite certification(s). Upon receipt of the certifications, Research Accounting will establish the project and advise the Principal Investigator of the details within 2-3 weeks. If no certifications are required, Research Accounting will notify the Principal Investigator of their project details within 2-3 weeks of receiving the notice of award.
