How do I obtain information about research assistantships, graduate assistantships and part-time jobs?
Most RSPH students work at least part-time during their enrollment in the program, either within the Emory system or at neighboring agencies such as CDC, American Cancer Society, the Georgia Division of Public Health, or other area non-profit public health organizations. Research assistantships and graduate assistantships are typically announced closer to the start of each semester and on-going throughout the year. At RSPH, these positions are part-time jobs, typically work-study positions, and are not associated with a tuition waiver. The Office of Financial Aid determines if a student is eligible for work-study. In addition, Career Services distributes announcements through a student listserv as they become available. New, incoming students will begin to receive announcements once their Emory email account is established over the summer.
