How do I obtain a thesis/dissertation (completed at The University of Texas at Austin)?
Non-UT Austin users: Online: Some dissertations completed at the University of Texas at Austin are available to remote users with no access restrictions. More information is available from the Texas Digital Library. Use in the library: Search the Library Catalog to find the location of printed dissertations, theses and professional reports. These are housed in the Perry-Castañeda Library and in the Library Storage Facility. Purchase: For users not affiliated with UT, many dissertations are available for purchase from ProQuest/UMI. In addition, some authors have given permission for us to sell photocopies of their University of Texas thesis or dissertation. To check on the permission to copy status of a specific dissertation or thesis, including recent online dissertations, contact Library Copier Services.
