How do I obtain a license key for my Schrödinger software, and what is machid?
In order to issue license keys for most of Schrödinger UNIX-based software, we must first have some information about the computing system on which you have installed Schrödinger software. The machid program included in your software distribution generates this information. After a successful installation of most Schrödinger applications, machid is automatically executed by the installation routine. Send this machid output information in an e-mail message to Schrödinger at help@schrodinger.com and we will issue your license key.
