Complete either form: Application for the Grant of a Hackney Carriage Licence or Application for the Grant of a Private Hire Licence. If you require a Private Hire Vehicle Licence you will also need to apply for a Private Hire Vehicle Operators Licence. The fee is £60.00 for 12 months if the vehicle is under three years old and 6 months if the vehicle is over 3 years old. The fee for a Private Hire Operator’s licence is £28.50 renewable every 31st January. Please note that applicant’s are responsible for the testing of their vehicles, using one of our approved testing centres. Please refer to information for testing vehicles.
