How do i obtain a certificate of elevation?
A registered land surveyor or engineer is the only person qualified to place a stamp on the certificate of elevation, so you need to call someone local to come survey your property. It is usually less expensive to deal with a survey company than with an engineer. Look in the yellow pages under ‘Surveys’ or ask your local Real Estate Agent or Title Company for referrals.
