I have two large dogs and the same problem. As for the exsisting brown spots, you’ll have to re-seed. To keep them from happening again give your dog something tomatoe based to eat. The tomatoe acid in the food neutralizes acid in their urine. If your dog will drink tomatoe juice that works great. Just add a little, every couple days, to his/her food or water. Also make sure that it isn’t grubs causing the spots in your lawn they also create large brown spots because they eat the grass’s root system. I hope this helps. Good luck!!!!
