How do I network my copies of RentRight together?
First you must purchase the network enabling option. Then you will need to receive activation codes for each of the computers from RentRight. Then, decide which one will be the holder of the database. (usually the faster or newer computer). Then open RentRight on the other computer (workstation). Go to File on the menu bar. Choose Network Setup. Then at the top in the box where it says “Look In” Choose Network Neighborhood. Then you should see the name of the other computer listed. Choose it. Then look under C for a folder Called RentVer3. After you select RentVer3 you will see a file called aptment.mdb double click on that and that will link you to the database on that computer. Then you can test it by making a change on one computer to see it the change is reflected on both.
