How do I navigate around in WebCT?
There are three ways to “get around” in WebCT. The first is to click on the icons, such as those found on the homepage. Some icons links will lead you directly to a page of information, and some will lead you to a secondary “organizer” page with more links. The second way is to use the navigation bar on the left side of the screen. This navigation bar can be hidden to give you more viewing space on your screen by clicking on “hide navigation, expand content” at the top of the navigation bar. (I don’t use the navigation bar much). The third way is to follow the Breadcrumb trail just under the course title near the top of the page. These links show where you have been and in what order, making it easy to jump back to a previous page. You should not use the “back” button of your browser as this will sometimes confuse WebCT and cause the program to lock up.
