A. In order to move a project from Xpress DV to another Avid system you NEED to digitize with accurate timecode. Save your project and copy your project file from Drive:\Program Files\Avid\Avid Xpress DV\Avid Projects\ (plus \”User Name” if opened as private) to a floppy or CD. Take any imported elements with you such as QuickTime movies or graphics. On the new system copy the project file into the appropriate folder. Be sure to un-write protect all the folders and bins that you copy over. Launch Avid and open your project. Select all the clips you want to digitize and choose Clip > Batch Digitize. Avid will prompt you for the appropriate tapes and record the material you have selected. Select imported elements and choose Clip > Batch Import and navigate to the location of the graphics to import. Also, you could select your sequence and choose Clip > Batch Digitize to digitize only those clips used in the sequence. Finally, select your sequence, choose Clip > Re-link and follow the ins
