How do I move my current site to InterBax?
Every situation is different, but generally, there are 5 basic steps in moving your site from your current hosting company to InterBax. The following steps are recommended to minimize your site’s downtime. 1) Select and order your hosting package from InterBax. 2) Move the contents of your current site to your new site. Set up email accounts, forwarders, autoresponders, etc. 3) Thoroughly test your site to ensure that it is working properly. 4) Change the name servers for your domain at the registrar where your domain is registered. Your new name server information will be provided to you. In 24 to 48 hours, your changes should start to take effect. It may take several days for all DNS servers to be updated. 5) Once all DNS servers are updated, you can safely cancel your old hosting account.
