How do I modify a Style to add page numbers for intext citations?
To add page numbers to intext citations EndNote requires that you use the edit citation function. For a number of Styles the page number line within this edit citation function does not work. Included below are instructions on how to modify a Style to rectify this. There is a download for the APA Style 5th with page numbers. Selecting the Style to Edit • From the File menu choose Output Styles and the Open Style Manager. • Scroll through the list, select desired style and then click the Edit button. • Before you make any changes select Save As from the File menu and save a version of this style with a different name (eg APA Corrected). You will be working on this alternative version leaving the original version still available for re-editing in the future. Editing the style • In the dialog box look at the options on the left and under the Citations heading select Templates. • Place the curser directly after the year and add a comma and a space. • Add a lower case p and then a full stop
