How do I map network drives while connected with CPSs VPN Client?
A. Open Windows Explorer and choose “Map Network Drive” from the Tools menu. At the path field enter \\server_domain_name\share_name. It is important to understand that the server_domain_name is a fully qualified domain name of the server as per Figure 6. (This window might look different depending on the OS version of your PC.) You might need to contact a network administrator to find out exactly what that name is. This name could also be replaced by an IP address of the server; again you might need network administrator’s assistance in finding out exactly what it is. At the Connect As field provide your username in the following format: domain_name\username as per Figure 7. (This window might look different depending on the OS version of your PC.) Please note: You might require assistance from the Help Desk Personnel in order to successfully complete this operation (773-553-HELP).
