How do I manually remove the data stored from the original install of Dash 8?

This is a manual method to remove the data stored from the original install of Dash 8. With this removed a fresh install from scratch should be possible. The procedure is as follows: Open Windows Explorer and browse to the “Program Files” folder. This will normally be on the C: drive. (note that it is called “Program Files” on English or American systems but it may have a different name on other language systems). In this folder look for the folder called “Installshield Installation Information” and open it. Inside this folder will be a lot of folders whose names are just a collection of numbers with curly brackets at each end of the name. Find the folder called {D42D6936-F7F3-4077-9851-538B0DA685A8} Right-click with the mouse on this folder and select “Delete”. You should be able to now perform a normal install of Dash 8 from the CD. The problem has been caused by the fact that a system restore will have changed the windows registry back to where it was before Dash 8 was installed. In
