How do I manually provision an AirLink device on the Verizon Wireless Network?

0

This document describes the steps required to manually provision various models of AirLink devices that run on CDMA/EVDO networks. While most AirLink devices support some form of automatic, over-the-air account provisioning, this type of provisioning applies when the device is a new, out-of-the-box device and has not had an account associated with it previously. Once a device has been activated with an account, if an account change (such an ESN swap) is performed and accounts are moved around, the device has no way of knowing this, hence the requirement for a means of manually provisioning a device. This document focuses only on Verizon Wireless. An AirLink device on Verizon Wireless, regardless of which module it has inside, the MC5725 or the MC5727, will support Verizon’s Over the Air Service Provisioning (OTASP) provisioning process. Manually provisioning an AirLink Raven X/XT, PinPoint X or MP595/ MP597 device on the Verizon Wireless Network. Note: This procedure is applicable only
