How do I make top behave nicely on cherax?
You can get process information on cherax from ‘top’, and it is better with some customization. top shows a list of running processes (see ‘man top’). If you type ‘h’ you get a help page. You probably want to type ‘t’ to toggle the summary information (to off). If you type ‘f’ you get to choose the fields that will be displayed, Y or ] will show which cpu a process is running on – so you can monitor whether it moves about – or what cpu it is bound to if you are using dplace.
