I searched every way I could to find apple tarts from Panera. I kept seeing caramel apple pastry, but I don’t know if that is what you meant. Then on the Panera website they said their caramel apple pastry was modeled after a dish called tarte tatin. I think it’s french. Anyway, Here is a recipe for tarte tatin, and a picture, but I don’t think this is quite what you were looking for. http://allrecipes.com/Recipes/Everyday-C… Here is another recipe for some apple tarts that looks pretty good. Hopefully your husband is easy to please!
