How do I make sure that the Roland XV-5050 is set up correctly for sequencing?
A. To use with a sequencer, the Roland XV-5050 needs to be in PERFORM mode on the “A” bank with the first performance loaded. The front panel of the XV-5050 should display the following: • PERFORM:PLAY • PA:001 Seq:Template If the front panel of the XV-5050 does not display the above, you can select the correct performance via the VALUE knob. Having the XV-5050 in this mode with this performance loaded resets the MIDI channels to correlate one-to-one with the PARTS.
