DRS for Windows provides the capability to create new nutrient fields. For example salt be set up as a nutrient field in addition to being listed a nutrient. You control the new nutrients name, spelling, unit, and list order. Follow these steps: • From the Utility menu, select the Nutrient definitions option. • Referring to the column labeled “Active name”, scroll until you locate a nutrient field you do not use. Since certain fields cannot be changed, you should look for items at the end of the list which may be shown as ““. • Change the entry in the “Active name” column to your nutrient’s name, e.g., Salt. • Click on the adjoining field in the “Unit” column. • From the Unit list select the unit field need, e.g., for Salt select 1 – % • Enter a number in the Decimal column to control the decimal precision for displaying the nutrient. • In the ListOrder column enter a number between 1 and 75 signifying where the nutrient should appear in the list of nutrient on the result screen
