In Excel 2007 you can Select the Review tab Click Protect Sheet Input a password Tick the boxes you want other users to be able to do or untick them all Click OK Re-enter the password Click OK Save Close Now reopen to test it out In Word 2007 Select the Review tab Click Protect Document Tick Editing Restrictions Select No Changes (Read only) Click Yes, Start Enforcing Protection Input password Re-enter password Click Ok Save Now test it out
