The LG DVD Recorder is a device that records DVDs as they play. This is helpful if you want to have more than one copy of a movie for personal enjoyment. However, the LG DVD Recorder is regionally coded to record and play specific types of DVDs. Many DVDs from foreign countries will not play in this DVD recorder. The only way to fix this problem is to re-program your DVD recorder so that it is region-free. There are two main ways to reprogram the recorder. Remove any DVDs currently inside the machine.
