How do I make an article of clothing (shirt) shrink?
The only one way to shrink a shirt, regardless of the material, is to have it altered (sewing). If you do not sew, maybe you know someone who does. If not, many dry cleaners also do alterations. If you try to shrink your shirt by washing it in hot water and then drying the heck out of it, you might ruin your shirt…and it won’t even shrink much. Plus, any shrinking that does occur will be temporary. The shirt will stretch right back to its original size within minutes once you wear it. Honestly, the only way to shrink your shirt is by having it altered. It’s actually a very easy sewing project that I’ve done hundreds of times.
